One thing is certain: support for NATO and EU wars is stronger and more secure than ever. I doubt even NATO's most ardent supporters imagined in their wildest dreams that their most vocal supporters would include the German Greens and this sector of the British left:
They are more willing to fall in line than any previous generation of Westerners. And that's saying something.

It'd be fascinating to hear the likes of Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, John Fetterman, etc. try to explain why they're so adamantly against establishing a lead Inspector General to oversee Ukraine spending. Their answer would probably be something like "goo goo gaga Putin"

The majority of Senators are never even questioned on why it is they vote the way they do on these Ukraine items. They never have to give an explanation. Seriously, what the hell would Bernie even mutter if he was pressed to explain his arbitrary opposition to Ukraine oversight

Increasingly, there's evidence that the "foreign influence" campaigns carried out on social media were facilitated by—not in spite of—the US government.

spoke with a Ukrainian official about his FBI partnership—aimed at censoring the social media of US citizens.

By the way, the amendment to create an Inspector General to supervise the billions sent by the US to Ukraine had a majority of Senators in support (51). But Dems used what they call the "Jim Crow filibuster" to prevent its passage, by requiring 60 votes, not 50.

Bernie Sanders joined every Senate Dem except 2 (Jon Ossoff and Jon Tester) in voting NO on an amendment to appoint an Inspector General to provide oversight and supervision on the billions of dollars the US is sending to Ukraine, the most corrupt country in Europe. Failed 51-48. twitter.com/mtracey/status…

Once again the Senate rejected a proposal to establish a lead Inspector General to oversee Ukraine spending and enhance legislative oversight. This wasn't some "isolationist" measure: it was introduced by hardcore GOP hawks Roger Wicker and John Kennedy. But the Dems still all voted it down
