Potentially. Sexual acts are gendered. So it might just be possible that wanting to present a certain way can influence choice of sexual partner and vice versa. Most research on gender and sexuality in any field (psychology, medicine, anthropology) isn't very developed yet. So in absence of such evidence, we can only speculate. But speculatively, yes, there can be a connection.
